Rare Old Comic Postcard Boy in Bathtub & Jack Russell Terrier c1950 Netherlands

This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this rare comic vintage postcard is a cartoon of a little boy taking a bath. Next to the bathtub is a Jack Russell Terrier.
Under the portrait is a caption in Dutch that translates to the dog saying:   "
As long as I don't have to get in
".  Apparently this Terrier is not too fond of baths!      On the back is some handwriting in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands,  a Netherlands 4 cent stamp and a 1950 Netherlands postmark.   The postcard was originally made in the Netherlands.  During the 1940s and 50s, scalloped edges were very popular on Dutch postcards.  This postcard bears a lovely scalloped edge.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from some small signs of surface wear including one creased corner, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
